Welcome to the 2008-2009 RMS Choirs!

                 Welcome to the New Year! I am  excited about the full slate of opportunities ahead of us.  I am eager to continue our exchange of good news about the value of music education for your child.

                 Within the first week of school your child will bring home an RMS Chorus Handbook and calendar for the 2008-2009 school year.  Please read through them carefully with your child, sign the information and acknowledgement sheet and return it to Ms. McCaleb by the indicated date. Please keep the calendar for your reference throughout the school year.

                 I have watched many of our rising 7th and 8th graders blossom as young musicians. I am very proud of their representation of RMS at Large Group Performance Evaluation, Honor Chorus, Solo & Ensemble, and other wonderful events in which they participated in last school year. I know that they will continue to grow as more opportunities for musical expression are sought. I am eager to meet our rising 6th graders and can’t wait to see the wonderful potential that they possess!
