Chorus is open to all students at Richards Middle School. Students will focus on healthy vocal technique, fundamentals of music theory, history, sight-singing, and the rehearsal of music. Most importantly, students will develop self-discipline and learn to work cooperatively through the rehearsal and performance of vocal music . The most successful chorus students strive for "excellence" both as individuals and as an ensemble.

                 The choral department will present at minimum two to three school concerts per grade level this year. These will be performances held at Richards Middle School. In addition, one or more of the choruses may perform in and around the community.
